Are you or a friend travelling to Australia soon and want experience in the Australian horse industry as well as living 20 minutes from the nations capital?

Stablehand wanted for Dressage and Showjumping stables in Murrumbateman NSW (near Canberra) Required to do full range of stable hand duties including, cleaning boxes, tacking up and general odd jobs.

The business also operates as a TB spelling and pretraining facility. Experience and confidence in handling ‘greener’ horses essential.

You must be fit, self motivated and work well unsupervised.

Accommodation provided in a fully self contained on site van as well as provision for your own horse. Weekly lessons included. This is considered part of your remuneration.

Depending on ability you may be schooling horses.

The position may be suitable for international visitors and flexible work hours and transport can be negotiated.

5 ½ days a week. Employed on a casual basis. Must have own tax file number and superannuation fund. Unlike some employers, you will be ‘on the books’ therefore you will be fully covered by workers compensation insurance.

$300 AUS per week / net
