Enthusiastic hard working person required to head our team (Min BHSAI). Must be able too teach all levels at our BHS Approved Riding School/Livery Yard.
Yard experience must be complemented by knowledge and experience of teaching and managing learners to level one courses and above.
You will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the centre’s commercial and competition activities.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, strong leadership skills, and with the ability to motivate staff and students and possess good industrial experience.
Responsibilities will include: managing the horse yard, teaching riders, training and supervision of staff, health and safety, customer care, horse welfare, organising events and courses for stages.
You will teach young riders, including some with disabilities, at our pony club.
You will instruct on full and part-time courses to trainees in a wide variety of equine related courses. The trainees will be acquiring skills to obtain work with horses and other animals.
We are also looking to develop NVQ training, and experience of vocational qualifications training would be desirable. Assessor qualifications and teaching qualifications are desirable but training can be provided.
Ability to drive a non HGV wagon an advantage. Must be happy to work outside as part of a team and in the office. Must be computer literate.
5 day week including one weekend day.

Starting Salary £18,000
