Well, maybe not quite... you'll see! He made me ride every step of the way. If he isnt sure of something he just switches off and gives up.

The first part of the vid are the first three jumps and the 2nd part are the last two. The last two were quite meaty for me and Icarus(dont forget he's 15.2 so he makes them look teeny tiny! These jumps were full up 2ft3 and the last was 2ft3 wide too. Yes, i know, 2ft3... big deal... but he wouldnt jump the first jumps which were only about 1ft tall!) . I think i can see a big improvement in him by the end of the round. He's got more confidence.... I still wasnt going to let him bound on in canter because his eyes were goggling at everything but the jump and he'd more than likely trip over it!

Anyway, enough rambling... here you go!

Well done to the both of you, I think you are really brave doing this, its the sort of height I would do if I could get my courage up enough again.

So, do you think you got a good enough adrenaline rush, and do you think you will go for it again?

“The horse knows how to be a horse if we will leave him alone…but the riders don’t know how to ride.
What we should be doing is creating riders and that takes care of the horse immediately.”

Aww he is just being cautious and looking after himself, my old section D went round a XC course just like that and would stop and then jump from a halt over every fence until i got lapped, yes was that slow, then she belted round the rest of the course

RIP Dennis 02/09/09 you were everything I could ever of wished for
