View Full Version : Nonnie

chance encounter

Got an awful shock when I came home from the stables tonight. One of my closest friends and who BCE is breaking one of her ponies and she was the friend we have bought our new pony with us contacted us tonight to tell us she has lost her eight month old foal to colic.

Nonnie was a character and a half. So full of cheekiness & naughtiness, she was a little Section A. She quickly got to your heart as she was so small and petite and her little feet were just so tiny. She would trit trot out of her stable and shy from the drain in the courtyard every time. BCE was going to be showing her this year from my friend and she would rear up and was just such a handlful but we all loved her just for who she was.

I cant believe that when we go on Sunday she wont be there, she was on of our favourities and my friend is truly devastated as we all are.

Night night Nonnie, your mummy fought for you all day today but it wasnt to be.
