View Full Version : Insuring a 34 inch pony?

We are going to part loan Mitch out soon, mainly because he'll need all the exercise he can get to keep the weight off him. He's not insured at the moment but if others are going to be riding him i think he should.

He's a 34 inch miniature and for 2000 000 3rd party its £105 a year but if i add £1500 vets fees it goes up to £215.

Thats with seib and their minimum pony value of £250 (he cost us £200)

I know its not a huge amount of money but who's best for insuring kids ponies?

Freya is 38" Shetland insured for £500 plus 3rd party theft death etc. but no vet bills.
Her insurance is £5.71 per month with KBIS

Ought to say Max is insured for £1000 plus the same other things as Freya and no vet bills and his is the same price!

Basil is insured third party theft death, vets bills and tack and i pay £13 a month that is with Petplan and they were brilliant when I had to have my other shetland PTS
