Getting Sorted!!!

Oh we are getting quite excited now for the show season as we so missed it last year with BCE's accident.

Today we went to Alexander James and BCE got measured up for her new tweed. It was quite a difficult choice as we needed to find a tweed that will suit both Darli & Diggi when he is ready being a chestnut.

So we chose one of the Moods tweeds and it has a subtle red, blue, green & gold check through it. I can't really describe what colour it is maybe a light brown?!? So we will be able to make the red stand out with a red tie with Darli and either a gold, blue or green tie with Diggi so hopefully it will look fine with them both.

Told them we need it for 31st May so fingers crossed its ready in time!

It was very nice in Alexander James with books and books of tweed swatches. Very expensive day out though but never mind we like to look smart and its an investment. It was so nice to be able to pick your own little bits to your jacket rather than getting one off the peg. Little things like what colour silk do you want for lining and what colour inside sleeves, did we want framed collar or velvet or nothing and there is a cute little pocket inside, lol! Just sheer quality so save hard they are well worth the money.

If you want to take a look Soph at the tweed if you go to their web site and click choose your cloth, the very bottom row I think there is three swatches. It is the first one something like 2926 I think the number is.

I've just had a look - what a beautiful colour! Can't wait to see some photo's of BCE in it. I find so many tweed jackets these days are just the most dull colours, BCE is really going to stand out from the crowd! x

I got an Alexander James tweed jacket from eBay, I'd never heard of them before and no idea it was a good make, sounds like I got myself a bargain! :shocked:

Got a very excited BCE jumping up and down in the living room!!! Just had a phone call to say jacket is ready and is being posted out today, we will receive it Thursday. 2010 show season can begin!!!!
