View Full Version : Bo piccies from 5 wks after his op

Took some pictures of bo 5 wks after his op, he is looking good considering he has lost alot of muscle from his bum. He has been out of work for 3 and half months now and been on box rest for the majority of this, he is very good in the box and to be tied up outside the box and pretty ok on the walker but everything else is too exciting for him. I have the vet out on friday to see how he is as it will be just over 7 weeks from when he had his op, fingers crossed its all good news. I havent seen him trot yet which is when he was at his lamest, if he isnt ok then our last shot is the steroid injections, farrier is still working on the rotated pedal bones but its all about those damn arthritic front legs of his. I will be sure to get some photos and vids of him being turned out as he is very likely to be having the time of his life, he is a very outdoor type of lad.

I hope he's going to be OK. He's a gorgeous horse. Fingers crossed the Vet says he's recovering well.
