Need your help again guys!

Im used to post and tape fences, each field with separate battery packs.. so doing the different circuits for more fields, im pretty much as thick with it as you can get! :D

Brought Rowan in tonight as he decided to mash his way through the fencing AGAIN and has broken it [POOR Jase who spent all day doing it!]

Problem is, he is quite tubby, again. So im going to have to do him a paddock of his own for the day times as otherwise he's going to get Lammi the way hes going!

Is it possible to make a circuit like this, or is it just going to go in circles and not actually complete a circuit? the field is 5 acres in total and is split into two..

The black bit is the shape of the tape that is up now, the red bit is the part im wanting to add on... Is it at all possible, or is there another way, without adding in a second battery pack? He will get out given the chance, so i need the middle bit between his field and Spud and Scottie's electrifying otherwise he will get into the long grass, and the divide between my field and the field to the south hasnt got a very good fencing so he will get under that too if the 3 sides of his paddock arent wired too!

Thanks in advance!

As long as the tapes are touching you should be able to get the electric current through that part too, I wouldnt imagine you need two batteries.

I do something similiar. I electrify all around my field and then have posts coming down the middle too and one coming straight across to make another square and that is always electric. It will only stop the current if it is touching trees or bushes or anything and of course as long as it isnt too long.

I tied a bit of mine together and its still works, so yes I think yours will work, there is only one way to find out.

Hahaha, ponies are a nightmare aren't they?!?! Even worse when you have a 36" houdini!!!

Anyway, we do this too, have a main leccy fence around the perimeter and then another dividing it. My dad has theses like clip things that you attach between the tapes, a bit like jump leads, but they're specifically for leccy fence. We only use one battery pack. Hope this helps?! And good luck!
