Hello,
My neighbour and friend who I used to work with about 6 years ago came round on Friday night. We had such a laugh as she is a brilliant rider, competes for a SJ yard, BSJA etc etc So naturally she jumped Taran.
WOW!!! She made him fly. My friend cannot believe my little cob is 16 and only started jumping at the age of 14 (rather proud of myself now) Taran did his first 1 metre course in the field, he had two down (my fault, friend was riding, I set up the double with an odd striding) But the second time he flew round and cleared all by miles! Apparently he is so light on his feet!
My friend said he could definately affiliate. Now, there is one problem, whenever I take Taran to shows he gets 'stage fright' I think and completely backs off the leg. So my friend is going to take him to some local SJ classes for me (I may do the clear round) to give him more confidence out and about... Just shows doesn't it, what a difference a really, really godd rider makes? So this time next year I may have a BSJA pony!!! EEEEKKK!!!!!
So pleased for my little Coblet.
