Well, it was blummin boiling! But a lovely day out. This is just going to be a brief report too, because i'm too tired to write up a full one!

First up was the in hand condition and turnout. Icarus was star and we won it. :D Got a lovely trophy and a goody bag of various things (vetrap, wormers, and THREE keyrings. Why three?! i dont know!) I've only got a couple of rubbish photos because, well, thats all we got!

'I can do this with my eyes shut, mum'

Next was a quick warm up and into the Riding club horse class. Icarus was a bit spritely warming up, he was very tempted by a lovely long grass hill he fancied galloping up, so we settled for a long controlled canter (haha, controlled... yeah right!) I also popped him over a few warm up jumps. He was locking on and really taking me into the jumps so i left it there and went to the class. It was very hot and he fell asleep in the line up. He refused the jump *grumble grumble* but did a very nice show and ended up 3rd above some really lovely ponies!

Last was the ridden M+Ms. I had untacked Icarus because i thought we had a looong wait, but i turned around and they were all in the ring. So we had a quick tack up, no warm up and chucked in the ring. He went very nicely! We came 4th (i had heard a few people saying Icarus should have won, but hey, a little girl doing her first show on the lead rein won, then a few other cute kids. Local shows are all about getting nice first experiences in the ring, so it was nice to see. Icarus went really nicely so i was pleased!:D)

here are a few stills. Sorry the quality is poop!

Not a particularly nice picture, but look! Flicky toes! He's beginning to really loosen up under saddle now, makes life so much easier!

Slamming on the handbrake! Look at that MASSIVE crosspole! *sniggers*
