Some pics of Bs backing progress

B is doing really well.
Julie gets on off the ground now or a mounting block. B just stands there :)
shes been out hacking and been good as gold.
and shes now cantering entire circuits of the school. Julie has only been coming 2-3 times a week so progress isnt as fast as it could be, but Bey is perfectly relaxed about the whole thing, which is what matters more.
as one can see the walk work is really coming on with her accepting contact and working into it more. trot will take longer as she needs to get stronger in the back- but shes very forward :evilgrin:
shes also growing- look a those LUGS!

i am really pleased with her
yeah her coat is going very light- almost dun-ish!
am riding her on thurs/fri.

Exactly what I was going to say! It seems like Bey is such a different horse to when he she born! Im sure shes plotting her moment to 'strike':innocent:

She honestly does look like a cracking little mare though under saddle!! :D

she spooked today as there was something horse eating in the corner of the field but J said she felt really good- ie her back wasnt up or ready to buck, she was just jumpy. until i stood in the corner and she realised there was nothing there :o
she said shes highly unlikely to be a horse that would try to get you off, if anyone did come off it would be an accident. no pressure then! :ashamed:
shes ready for more canter work now. will pop a vid of her up at some point too, her walk is quite established now :)
