My only riding horse left as riff's gone lame :rolleyes: and sully is out of action!

so honey bee!

honey doesn't like a contact…of any kind!, we have gone through several snaffles and the only type she liked got stolen! grrr…so i tried some draw reins on, not to bring he in but to give her the idea that there is no contact when her head comes in…you can see they weren't exactly tight!

Think ive only ever used draw reins twice on my horses but i didn't want her to be constricted with something like a Market harborough. It worked well as i just let them go after a trot and canter.

as you can see….not exactly in use here!!!

well…i sometimes know what im doing! They'd slipped through and as i wasn't using them at the time i didn't realise and my fantastic photographer must have been on another planet! ha! ooopsies…oh well…its bombproof training!

Honey likes jumping, but doesn't always pick up, will quite happily just knock em down! doesn't stop though good girlie.

She's lovely, I had to do this with Candy when we were reschooling her.

She resented any contact, she had only just had everything checked before she came to us so we knew there wasn't anything wrong, it was in her head from bad teeth years before.

She only had to wear them twice before she caught on and realised.

Ovbiously you know they are too loose lol!!
