Gem and I went for a lesson yesterday. She was brilliant travelling and behaved well when we got there (as expected :innocent:) She did want to make friends with the other horses though and did a bit of neighing.

Although my inner thighs were numb within 10-15mins I loved that fact that, because I had so much to concentrate on, I thought of nothing else for that hour. Bliss. I've been stressed at work and although I felt guilty for spending time doing something for me, it was worth it for that hour.

The instructor said Gem is looking great for her age (lots say that, she's 23) and that she was forward-going and worked in a nice, natural outline most of the time.

Please excuse me, don't forget I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had lessons.
Gem... the best horse in the world to me.

Thanks both. :) I am very pleased with how Gem is looking. I can't wait to go out again with her... and Tehya before too long.
