Hi I am putting my mare up for sale as we have to many horses and I was just wondering how much I should put her on for.

She is a 16yo Bright Bay Dutch Warmblood Mare 16hh Reg with AES.
By Lupin Out of Cherry Court
Has been out of work for a while, I got her fresh out the field the other day tacked her up and lunge her and she did not buck, rear or do anything silly.
She has BSJA winning of £180.00 and won a XC event last time out.
She does have a scar on her hind leg that is documented on her passport witch she did when she was 3 months old.
Good to catch, feet ect..

I'd say £3000. At 16 she's not that old and it sounds like she's very talented.

if you get her back into work she would be a good RC type, the only worry i would have if i was looking and she wasnt in work is that being a little older weather or not she would come into work again sound, most will 16 isnt that old but its something people will start to think about

i would say around £2500

When I lunged her the other day she was sound and I was expenting her to be a bit stiff the next day but she wasn't.

I would pay around £2000 for her now - if you work with her and get her going you could increase that figure quite a bit. 16 is not old and many people are looking for horses that have been there and got the t-shirt at the moment - I don't think you'll have any trouble selling her.

I would say maybe £2500 just because of her age. She not old but its not the age I'd personally want to buy.
