Im thinking of getting a project pony beginign of next year when Kizzie has to go to stud to foal, Ollie I really dont think will settle by himself so just need a companion really but would be good if its something i can school on a bit and then sell,

where is the best place to find one? will have to be at least 14hh want something backed that just needs schooling on a little and then i can sell, im leaning towards more of a chunky type maybe a section D, or a Haffy, something that could sell well but that i can buy for under 1000

not fussed about being difficult or anything that needs a bit of work but preferably already broken in

You could try looking on projecthorses, then at least you don't have to trawl through pages of perfectly schooled horses looking for a project!

I thought your girl was already in foal?

yeah but i will be taking her back to work to have the baby and to play with other babies, i think its quite important for them to socialise and also i dont want to foal her at home just incase where as at work there are lots of people around with lots of knowledge, although i have foaled a few my self i havent seen everything

those are the sorts of things i would be looking for, something that needs a bit of tidying up and schooling on, they are all too far away though, im sure i would find something down jubilee lane in blackpool though, you could buy a pony no trouble down there
