Theo after his bath - does he need to be fatter??!!

I gave Theo his first bath today and so just a few to capture him looking clean for a change. How do you think he is looking? Needless to say just after I took the field pictures he rolled 3 times and is now filthy again:lol:

He is still coming in for 6 hours a day to eat hay and is on Alfa A Oil, conditioning cubes, top spec and oil. I think he is building muscle but needs a bit more fat on him? Opinions please:D

I think he looks perfect! I think there are so many fat horses around nowadays that our version of normal has shifted to the fat side of normal so a horse like him is nice to see. Muscle takes time but you'll get there.
(P.S. he's got a very Milton-esque face - does he jump like him?!)

Oooo I really like him and would say he is a perfect weight, what breed height etc?

Thanks Sparkey - I think he is about right bar some muscle but as always others on my yard (with big fat lumps mainly) are telling me he is too thin:(.

He was an affiliated show jumper in the past but having had both hind suspensorys operated on we stick to four legs on the ground:lol:.

Thanks VelsMum - He is a 17.1hh Belgian Warmblood, just 12 and I have had him on loan since the start of May. He has done very little for the last few years and his owner has loaned him out as he was wasted standing in a field. He is an absolute sweetheart, fab to hack and we are just starting to remind him how to work properly and he is coming along really well. I travelled 4 hours to see him and he was well worth it:D

hes trim,a healthy wieght. i allways worried mike was thin for a shetland but i can't see ribs so its all good
