baby horse comes home

So pleased - my new little lad passed his vetting tonight so we brought him straight home! Not very good pictures yet as camera battery died on me before he actually came home but there are a few from at his old home! He is a 3 year old irish sport horse (unknown parents but that was the vets guess!) At the moment he is 15.3hh, vet thinks he will make 16.1/16.2 as he obviously has alot of growing to do!

He loaded well onto the trailer and travelled beautifully. Leapt off the ramp at the other end and had a minor panic in our carpark before having a mini fit at having to go through a gateway and then refused to go into the stable for 5 minutes (it has rather a low door for quite a tall baby with his head in the air!!) So yes - green as grass! But not nasty and I am half in love with him already! Have left him in tonight with Stimpy so hopefully he might chill out a little overnight. Poor thing has had some pretty rough handling I would say so its gonna be a long road - but he is so utterly worth it!!

By the way he needs a name so all suggestions welcome - looking for something really original. One suggestion so far is Oakley!
