Jack Ridden today

Chloe had a lesson on Jack today as he is staying at RI's this month, I got on him first to check the little man was in a 'good mood', but should have known he was a perfect gentleman once aboard (after he has scartched his face up and down my side a few times, naughty native pone!)
Pics arent great and I only got one of Chloe as I was too busy being a proud mum at how well she did. honestly Jack has given Chloe so much confidence the transformation in her riding is amazing!!!
Then my friend had a little hop on him after lesson and practised halts, this seems to be the hardest aid with him in the school, we have figured out you must give a big seat aid too which helps stop him.

RI is amazed how much he has come on and kept saying what a fab little guy he is and just perfect for all of us.

So the clever man got a little bucket of wet chaff for being such a good boy then I restricted his field with leccy fencing to about a 1/3 of what he had before as he has pilled on a few pounds since arriving there :rolleyes:

Y'know what I love about Jack? He's as black as black could be. Not going all ginger in the mane like some do in the sun. He looks great and so do you!

Thats brilliant that hes making so much progress and making Chloe's confidence grow too!

Not so good about the weather though. Bring your ponies down my way for a week or so, we've had glorious sunshine *touchwood* for a week or two now. Got plenty of room for them!

Jack is fab. He looks like he will turn his hand to anything. Whata fantastic purchase he was. They dont come along like that all the time you have a good one there. x
