Soooo stressed at the moment and I dont really know what reply I want, it's just a rant!
One of Stars lumps seems bigger and she seems to have another lump coming up on her other hind leg which is like heart breaking really, its just so so scarey ... we just dont know what else is on the inside, its just horrible and so stressful not knowing!
She comes out abit stiff and her hind legs are always swollen everyday and i have to walk her up and down the lane for about 15 minutes to loosen them up but thhen she is fine and will go in the paddock and run off all her energy but this is panicing me because im scared shes going to do some damage but shes fine once the swelling goes down and the stiffness eases.
I don't know whether i am doing all the right things by her, especially not sending her for this biopsy to really check what all these lumps are, see i want to send her because then i would know once and for all and if they arent tumours then i could relax but if i send her and they are tumours i am potentionally shortening her life span because once they are opened to air it makes it worse and last time we had a biopsy she ended up in a right mess!
Ahhhhhhhh her saddles alsoo rubbed her and im trying to sell that so at the moment im hardly even riding her so she is really hyper and bored ...
works stressing me out too ... i know im whinging and some of you have such worse problems than me but im so scared of these lumps, i feel asif my heart breaks more and more every time i see a lump appear or she gets a little bit stiffer or her legs swell up that little bit more!
Sorry for the rant, just not many people around me i can talk to properly about this xx

Don't doubt yourself, your doing 100% the right thing by star. Don't know what else to say, wish there was something we could do xxx

So sorry to hear about Star. The strongest thing we have as humans is 'hope' and maybe its not as bad as it seems. I am sending her healing energy and I truly hope that she gets over this soon.

Does she have to be stabled at night ot can you rug her up and leave her out 24/7? That would help with the stiffness.

Thanks for even replying to this as it was a completely ranting post that you all probably don't need, and thank you for all being there for me and Star.
Tracey, she has to be stables as she doesnt like being turned out, she can only really cope with 3 hours or so at once as she then wants to come into her stable, she paces at the gate and stuff, don't know why! she just doesn't like it, strange i know x

Aw, well I can't blame her for preferring luxury accommodation to being stuck out in a field

Oh no thats such a shame, have you tried the bandaging to stop her legs filling yet?

its an awful situation to be in really sort of a catch 22, is there no cremas or anything like that you could try to reduce them rather than having to result to a another surgery which i know you didnt want to do

Thanks all.
No not tried the bandaging, but will be doing tomorrow hopefully, but i asked about cream and there isnt really anything as they dont really know whether its a tumour or not for deffinate, they are just presuming so cant give us anything specific x

Don't you dare apologise for ranting on here abou this. What would be the point of being on here if you feel you can't post when you are feeling down. If people didn't want to know about it then they wouldn't look.

I don't think there is anyone on EW that can honestly say they think you aren't doing the right thing by Star.

Youcome on here, and you post whenever you feel the need to, whether it be good news or a rant!!

Big hugs Sarah, there isn't anything i can say that i haven't already said, just how much i admire you for being so strong!!
