yeah, i was'nt sure if he has had bad lammi at some point in his past but he used to live on poor ground, he was tender the other day but he was fine the next day, the only good stuff he gets is the garden grass for a hour 2 days a week then its bare field with a cake of hay. (besides his chaff) but hes not fat (to me)

They're very cute! The ridge is a good sign (well, the bit above the ridge is anyway!). The fact that the new hoof is growing nice and strong and thick is an indication of good nutrition.
