He was amazingly well behaved and mannered all day, and it was soooooo hot, he was just brilliant!! Really gave me a tonne of confidence, and was soooooo nice having a pony that stood still in line for the judge and i was not constantly being shoved/head butted and having to continually circle him!!!

Then some from today. Have just bathed Ferdie as im taking him to a really small low key showing show tomorrow :D Just feels so special as this time last year i never thought id ride again let alone take him out again! Ok, so he wont be placed, as his condition isn't too hot ... but im proud of him and i love him to the end of the earth and back and thats what counts :)
After the bath, he couldnt even wait to be turned out before rolling :mad: -

Chestnut im doing really well thank you. After a tough winter, i have finally re-found my love and enjoyment with the horses and am loving and treasuring every minute of it!!

Sazzy Colby is 2 and a half now so growing up very fast and blossoming into a lovely little pony.

Jane thats really nice of you to say. I was so proud of Digby that day! He tried his heart out and really gave me a much needed confidence boost - i cant wait to take him to his next show in a few weeks! Colby deffinatly staying and im much happier knowing he is :D

Rhea, i would love, more than anything to have all 3 together, but at the current time its not possible. I will be needing to move Colby to another yard in the near future when he is backed, so it seems silly moving them all together now for me to then move him away in a few months! Hopefully, once he is backed and things have settled we will be able to work something out! I cant physically afford to have all 3 on the sort of yard ill be needing to move Colby to (facilities, instructors etc). In the future hopefully though :)

North Mcqueen -Digs was very proud of himself and lapped up the attention all day! That was for handsomest gelding that rossie!! Ferds is a legend with his lil faces love him!

LOL thanks everyone! Gem Ferdie is deranged!!! Anyone passing would have thought i had a 2 year old at the show today ... not a 20 year old!!! He then managed to slobber/lick all the rosettes in the judges basket as he was given his rosette :lol: Legend pony :D The photographer asked if he ever kept any body part still .... legs and tongue were in full working order all day :lol:

This time next year could be me and Colby eeeeek!!

Ferdie as much of a character as ever I see! He is so entertaining. And my goodness Colby has grown! He is such a stunner! :D
