Piggy and Jasper's last ever ride together. Beach pics!!

The day was eventful, didn't get off to the greatest start, arrived round the yard in the morning to find Alfie in the field all alone, which made me panic because it screamed of Jasp and Pig being stolen, as Alfie probably wouldn't have loaded.

But no, Piggy had to break one last fence, and did it properly, through the post and rail!! The pair of them were in the huuuuge wheat field behind the yard, right at the other end, so off we went to collect them back haha, they came straight back thankfully.

Then halfway to Holkham we got a puncture, which is not great lol, luckily Hutch being a lorry driver knew the nearest lorry yard was just down the road, so the horses have been jacked up in the trailer in a lorry yard workshop lol. Piggy looked rather confused as they were being jacked up a bit haha.

OK, there are soooo many pictures, none of them are in any particular order. There is obviously Jasper and Piggy, me and Sarah, but we also have guest of honour Hutch, as he drove us it was only fair I let him ride Jasper. He wasn't expecting Sarah to let him ride Piggy back to the trailer though, think he enjoyed that bit!!

We swapped about a bit, Sarah passed on riding Jasper, she didn't much fancy him poncing about with her as he did with me lol!

The sea was quite rough, and wasn't expecting to get in, but after some persuasion as you'll see they went in and rather enjoyed themselves once they were past the point where the waves were breaking against them.

I know I am leaning well back in alot of the photo's it was for good reason haha!!

It was a fantastic way to say goodbye to Piggles. She is very happy in her new home, don't know if Sarah is going to come on and post, but she has 7 fallabella friends which Sarah said she isn't so sure what they are lol.

A perfect way to end the last 3 years, and I am going to miss our stupid rides, until Alfie is up and running, I am going solo for the time being, so hacking will be somewhat more boring now, although Sarah has said she is going to be joining me on hacks, on her noble steed bicycle!!

Hope you enjoyed seeing our posts as much as we have enjoyed experiencing the rides and sharing them with you all!!

Yeah, Piggy is in a nice big field, so plenty to eat, and as long as Piggy has plenty to eat she is as happy as larry!!

I was really sad when I was making this post. I went round the yard yesterday to feed the boys last night, and was strange not seeing her in the field.

She was a pony who made an impact, and even though her and Hutch didn't use to see eye to eye, they made friends in the end, and secretly he'll miss her too!!

He won't miss chasing round wheat fields for her, but he'll miss her presence (he says attitude) lol!!

EveningStar - I don't think shes getting a new horse becaue of uni. She does plan to go a couple of times a week to a Polo Club in Cambridge and wants to learn to play polo :)

No she's not getting another horse, she's got uni next year, going to have a year saving and having some fun with her friends that are off to uni this year. I'm not going to get rid of her next year lol, she'll be virtually living at mine haha! But she is hoping to start riding other horses and get used to riding other horses lol.

She's possibly going to be able to borrow one of our friends horses to join me on some hacks occasionally. So not all bad.

So sad that it's a 'last ride together' but otherwise lovely pics, and looks like a fantastic ride. Nice to see you're still riding in pregnancy. I did with my first, and I'm convinced it helped keep me fit and spring back into size 8 soon after.
