I took Starsky to his first show of the year today so I thought I'd show you a few pics of the occasion!

He was a really good boy - a bit lively when we first got there but behaved for me in the ring. It was a fairly big class (9 of us) for a little local show and we came 5th, which considering his not so perfect conformation and the scuffs and scrapes in his coat, I think was pretty good!

he's a good 16.2hh now and I'm 5ft 11 (probably a bit taller with hat)... he's gonna be HUGE!

Thanks BC and all... it always amazes me how well he scrubs up - the scruffy little oik! you would have thought I was trying to kill him doing it though!!:pmsl:

thank you all... days like yesterday and pictures like that make all the blood (yes there has been bloodshed!), sweat (lots of) and tears (bucket loads!) so worthwhile. He's REALLY hard work at times and such a test on my good nature but when he looks like that and behaves so well it is so rewarding that you forgive an forget the difficulties we have (including being naughty to load to go home yesterday!)
