What is everyone up to this weekend?

Today I am hoping to finish work at 4.15pm (well it is Friday!), I'm meeting my friend Anna at the yard and we are going to go out for a hack. It will be a steady one as we've barely had any rain this month and the ground is like concrete. We are running out of daylight in the evenings quickly now so I think next week may be the last of the evening hacking *sob*

Tomorrow my Aunt and Uncle are coming to visit, so I will be spending the early hours of morning frantically cleaning and had better go to tescos to get them something for lunch (times like this I wish we lived nearer to shops!). I will then hopefully manage to ride Tali in the school in the evening. Because our yard is a riding school there will be lessons all afternoon and there won't be a school free until 5pm, by which time there will be a deep track round the edge with all the corners cut off (why does nobody ride into corners?) so we probably won't manage to practise our dressage but I can do some suppling work with Tali and hopefully remind him of his manners after our last attempt at schooling :ashamed:
Then the rest of the evening will be spent tack cleaning and polishing boots.

Sunday we have dressage, not too much of an early start so I get a lie in until 7am.

7am is most certainly not classed as a lie-in on a Sunday!!

Me I'm meant to be working tomorrow but thinking about skiving (it's my own business so I am allowed lol) then spending the day at the yard on Sunday. Lois has got a lesson too!

Its been nice here, I want to ride but have no saddle to fit so might take the kids out on jester, I can't school at the moment or do anything different because sisco is in the bare paddock and I need that to work it.

Rhea- wasn't it you who bought a bargain saddle off eBay recently?

Yeah it was, nothing wrong with the saddle but after getting slated for buying it I won't use it in cause it hurts his back, (parodied) apparently something to do with the brand of it, once I get enough money for a saddle fitting I will ask them to fit if not I'll have to buy something else some how.

Well I have been off work all week and had a rather lazy one, still sitting her in my pjs but really must go in a shower as I am meeting a friend for a late lunch at 2pm.

Tomorrow I am going to a friends to have a look at her rubber matting as we are changing over. Then we are going to the feed store to stock up for winter on feed and bedding. We have no shows this weekend so BCE will just hack both Darli & Chance out and take Diggi for a walk on the road.

Tomorrow is the last race of the season :( We'll probably set off around 10 and get there by 11 as it isn't far at all.

Sunday - think about the fact that I have run out of money and wonder what to do about it.

Finishing up at 4.15 today. Last day in my temp job, start my new permanent job on Monday. Walking the dog then chilling this evening as Ricky is working late & I can't get to the yard. Got a text from my friend who lunged Mo for me today (I'm not good at lunging yet) and Mo is still lame. So tomorrow, I'm going to have to fence of a small paddock in her field to restrict her movements for another couple of weeks. Do RDA for a lesson then off to the hairdressers. Was supposed to have a lesson on Sunday but will have to cancel it. So at a loose end on Sunday. Might go & groom for the others that are going to a show.

I am riding this afternoon - hopefully both boys as I want to school Jakes and jump Taran. Tomorrow I am working so my friend is riding. Then on Sunday I have the lady who hopefully if loaning Jakes is coming up for another look and ride.

It's a long time since I can say I'm going riding at a weekend but I am!

Saturday morning - go for a nice long potter on Nycha. Saturday afternoon going to see a tattoo place, possibly get a tattoo but thats unlikely unless I really like the place.

Sunday - another ride then maybe go watch some xc or just collapse in a heap. My muscles aren't used to riding again!

Well my new saddle has arrived today so i'm looking forward to trying that on Charlie later, i won't be riding in it till tomorrow though as it'll be late when I get there tonight. After that, my hubby and I will go to our local dog friendly country pub for a few drinks.

Tomorrow, i'm going to try Charlie in the trailer (he's started to not load) so we'll just try and get him in and feed him in it and try to get him going in and out. I'll also go for a hack out at some point. The rest of the day will be spent catching up on jobs at home, then walking the dogs. We'll probably stay in tomorrow night and watch X-Factor!

On Sunday, we're hoping to take Charlie out for a short trip in the trailer, hack him then load up and come home (that way if he doesn't go in I can hack back!). I've also got the weekly clean out of the chicken pens to do! I'll probably cook a roast dinner for tea and watch the 2nd episode of X-Factor!
