Hello Everyone!

Wondered if anyone could give me any ideas on names please.

I've just bought a lovely Gypsy Cob colt foal which is coming on monday. And he has no passport, so i'll have to sort one out soon. And anyway he hasnt got a name.:sad-no:

I would of put a pic up, but its not a very good one as you cant see his face. But, hes black with a white blaze and 1 white sock at rear.

I've only come up with a couple of names, but really arnt sure.

Guiness? Black Jack?.....erm???

Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Holly

I have always loved the name Taliesin or Tally for short. Taliesin was a Welsh Poet.

How about Puzzle?
I had this dilemma when the vet was coming to chip my donkey. He ended up as Derek, named on the spur of the moment by my husband. Nevermind, I've got used to it now.

Cant wait to see some pics of him! If I had my way I would have changed Billys name to Rodney or Dave, just because I think they suit him lol. Im having the same dilema but over a show name, Ive googled some Romany names but nothing really stands out.

I like Guiness, I used to ride a lovely coloured cob called Guiness,
Minstrel? (as in the black and white ones not the chocolate ones),
Drummer
and finally
Fiddler
Sorry if you think they are pants names lol!

Hi Holly
What did you call him?
I am waiting for a phone call to say I can go pick up my Gypsy Cob colt, the name on his passport is Hermits Warrior so I will use that as his show name and I am going to call him Finnian (Finn) it is an Irish name meaning 'warrior'.
How are you getting on with him, are they as friendly and docile as they say?
Best regards
Jackie
