A race horse, what would would you name his racing name?

I don't know why it's very strange but 'Prospect Devil' comes in my head. Though it doesn't make sense or mean anything, i just like it lol.

What would you call you'res? :p

I had a 10% share in one that my [now late] relative bought for me, named Giovanni D'oro

Id probably name it something like

Browns better half
Princes mistress [camilla :P]

or just something weird to be different like

Eneris, Lorni, Debonair

I dunno

Chip's registered racing name is 'Captain Cloudy' ! Other horses I had on the track were called 'The Homa' and 'El Sol'.

I like 'Molten Lava' for a chestnut, 'Black Gold' for a dark bay or black, 'Cream of Tartare' for a grey and 'Tawny Dream' for a bay.

trotting's for wusses

OI!!!:lol::lol:

BC, there was a good trotting mare called Debonair.

Flambards, I wanted to call a foal Geronimo but it was already taken!

Currently top of my list for racehorse names is SIZZLING BOMBAY. My friend is going to open a curry house called Sizzling Bombay. When he's a millionaire he'll invest in a trotter and I'll be his racing manager :) The horse will be called Sizzling Bombay - unless he's too slow with that million and I nick the name sooner.

My feral friend/groom/assistant trainer, who is totally addicted to racing already (YAY) wants to call his MIDLIFE CRISIS.

Also on my list are:
MUDLARK
DELVITA (crappy Czech supermarket which is probably responsible for my strong stomach)
FREEDOM FIGHTER
OLIVE LOBELL (Vinny and Olive's adopted child, Lobell being Vinny's second name)

Should find the list really.

Norfolk Enchance.

No really..hmm I don't know. I like CDR's Great Balls of Fire suggestion. Also like Grace's Magical Trevor :) I'd probably go for a human name. Alan Rickman. Yes.

pmsl BC, Debonair is a Pokemon... am I the only one sad enough to know that??

Its one of the dragon pokemon.

*goes off to the geek corner again*

And Prancing Pony that I thought of is the pub in Lord of the Rings!!

Now none of you can say I don't give you useless information!!! :ashamed:

Loony

Alright I was only 80% sure about the Pokemon thing.. I've searched it and it's actually "Dragonair".. :ashamed: Does this make me less of a geek now because I got it wrong or am I more of a geek because a completely irrelevant word reminded me of Pokemon??

the farriers at work shoe for a race yard and were trying to get the owner to call it something that sounded quite rude, i wont post it, just incase peoples respect for me drops,

but imagine people shouting 'come on' and add something onto the end of that which would make it rude, and a little disgusting,

ahhh i get it now too. what's worse is now i remember that i've actually been told that before, and didn't even put two and two together!

you lot are so imaginative, come up with some hilarious names.

i'd have to be really sentimental and call my racehorse "Dolly's boy/lass" (My gran was Delores aka Dolly) which is actually what I want to change Syd's name to
