Silly question from me beks, i always presumed taran was cut, was it just a turn of phrase or is he a stallion?
Just being nosy, either way he is flipping gorgeous :)

I was told when I bought him he was cut late and used as a stallion. I though as he didn't act very stallion like (except round mares in the field only) but I found out the other day he was cut at 12 years old and used as working stallion. He has impecable manners though. He was very thin when I got him 2 years ago it has taken me this long to be able bring out the best in him. He is a real gem xx

I think because your lads are well cared for etc, they look like stallions - Taran was cut at 12 years. Taran came to me very thin and depressed. Someone has beaten him (there are whip marks cut along his flanks) which is probably why he has brilliant manners because he is scared. He is only, this past year starting to come out of his shell and put on top-line condition! He is 15 years.

True I forgot he had a bad start, have you any photos of the marks? I don't think I've ever seen them, unless they arn't that noticable to us in photos.
He must have been hit hard to show whip marks.
I guess it could be because M&M are younger?, they might grow out of their likeness, if you get me lol

Phwoar someone's a bit happy!! :D Love those pics. I know just what you mean about the daft spazzywoo thing he does. Rookie did exactly the same about 4 strides before a jump. I tried to fight it but in the end I just had to line her up and set up the stride then leave the rest to her. And cling on :)
