If I can't get my laube lasors fixed, which clippers do people recommend?
It would be handy to have ones that take the same blades if possible.
I would do 2 clips a year (one blanket, one full) and a bit of trimming with them. I have mains electricity available but wonder if cordless ones might be an easier option anyway.

Lister Liberty all the way.

They are battery pack or mains, fantastic set. Not heavy, very good handle on them for grip. I've used mine for atleast 6/7 years now and they have clipped well over 100 horses, still clip perfectly despite one maintenance, blades sharpened every 2 years.

I've used lots of clipper sets, and although they are at the expensive end of the range, its for good reason. I will always use LL from now on

Lister clippers are pretty good, one of the liveries at work has a set of lister clippers that must be like twenty years old and they are still going, loud but still clip well
