I tried not to think about her much on Thursday as i thought it was disrespectful to Samber & maybe less hurtful to move on rather than dwell on it. The mare i lost last year was a true one off, due to past abuse she could only be handled by me or my daughter (was a rottweiler with anyone else!) so much personality, so loyal & loving in her own quirky way. The pain must be lessening, i re-read an EMail i'd sent this time last year to a friend, telling him Zara'd died, it had felt like the bottom was dropping out of my world. Recently, the lady who rescued Zee & rehabilitated her, tragically lost her arab gelding, the two had been firm friends when she owned them both so now they're re-united.
RIP Zara, never forgotten, glad i was priviledged to have owned such a special girl xxxhttp://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz167/christine1471/ZEEZEE.jpg

Sorry to hear it Christine

As much as you love your current horse, those who have passed always stay with us a little bit. As long as you remember them, they live on

So so sorry Christine. You'll never forget her, like BC says while you remember her she'll live on in your heart.
I remember too clearly the first anniversary of losing my boy - a real heart wrencher, thinking of you xx

She was very good looking but her ears were pinned back most of the time, god must've sewn them on the wrong way, bless her!
