Apparently this is Dylan's daddy, but the WWW knows nothing?
Would be grateful if anyone knows anything :)

Our old pony's sire was Dyrin Lyric - a welsh A - could you have misheard it or is it written down? Maybe they're related?

Hmmm...no she spelled it out, unless she misheard. Is yours a grey by any chance?

No he was a buckskin and I think Dyrin Lyric is bay.. But if your Dylan's mum was grey then that would give him a 50/50 chance of being grey.

No mum wasn't so I guess its not him then. I'll have to ring the Welsh P&C society & see if they have him on record. Thanks for replying though :)

just wondering if you ever found anything out? the wp&cs can be a nightmare to deal with! Anyway a friend of mine has a littlewern stallion, littlewern lad.
Lyric appears to have many foals on the ground after searching in google, a lot of dyfed ponies are by him! Here he is at glanusk

Does Pam know anything? I'm kind of reluctant to ring her as she is always trying to sell me more goats and I'm terrified of ending up with another!

When we picked up Bridget I got the chance to see her set-up. Quite an amazing place. You have to walk half a mile across the hill to get to her farm. She has a bit of land but most of her horses live on the hill. I would have thought Dylan's daddy is whoever happened to be running on the hill at that time!

Had a quick Google and Gareth Price seems to be involved in Lyric. Any chance of getting in touch with him? If you google 'Gareth Price Little Wern' his details come up.

Speaking to FF today, he reckons Dylan's mum was almost certainly covered by whichever stallion was running on the hill at the time, regardless of whether her owner had permission from the stallion's owner. This could be why Mr Price has not been especially helpful / contactable so far with regards to Dylan.

Does Dylan have a prefix?
