Just being nosey really, as I know some people on here have lots of experience :) Thought it would be quite interesting to see how we range as a group too
So, what's the highest level of dressage you've competed at? (Can be with a previous horse or current one) You get bonus points for pictures ;)

I've competed to Elementary level in Dressage. The majority of dressage I have done has been on other people horses/my old bosses horses as opposed to my own. I have always been much more into SJ with my own horses (mainly Kiwi) and now, just can't be bothered with competing

Prelimary for me. I did four tests on Ranger, and then about 5 tests at the school competitions but I rode a pony that I had never ridden before :)

Novice for me too on a horse from college, Mattie. no photos sadly:( we didnt do that well, she was normally ridden in a hackamore but had a snaffle for the tests I did and although she warmed up beautifully in the outdoor school with other horses, entering the indoor school on her own ( which she had never done before) she spent most of the test neighing to those in the outdoor:rolleyes: Think I had a few comment along the lines of 'Hollowing' :pmsl: well to be fair its not easy to neigh with your head down, if you want to get a good sound you NEED to stick your head out as far as possible:rolleyes:
we didnt place:o
Since then ive only done Prelim with Oscar and we came 3rd....which to be fair is amazing for our first test together....would like to do some more hopefully next year.:D

Prelim at the moment but in a couple of weeks' time we'll have attempted our first novice (and probably failed miserably if she doesn't wake up a bit )

I've only ever competed up to Prelim, but i have done up to elementary on a loan horse at home - I just didnt have the balls to go out there and do it somewhere else! So i voted Prelim :)

Sadly not with Mac, only ever did Prelim with him.
This pic is actually doing a demo not a comp hence why he's wearing a decorated browband and I've got a flower on!
