long reined Ted!

Ted is a star,only had him 6 days but he does as i ask.Lunged and long reined him today.He was brill.needs some practice but made a good start.long reining was a bit tricky trying to hold all the loops of line and trying to hold the whip and steer at the same time.Wondering if lead ropes might be better for now!

normal ling lines are way too long for shetty's. See if just using one lunge line with a clip at each end is a more sensible length.

you dont need to use a whip use the lines to slap him with if you need to or I use a driving whip or schooling whip just to tap them with or to tap my own leg to make a nosie

A pair of reins on each bit ring works aswell! if a matching pair, they can be joined too

I found the same thing trying with the whip but you don't need it.
