Burghley - who's impressed you so far?

Been watching bits and pieces on Burghley tv while 'working' on my dissertation and just wondered what everyone thought of the competition so far?

I though Ruth Edges dressage was wonderful - thought she really deserved the lead and loved Carousel Quests test too. Haven't seen many xc but the course seems to be riding pretty well.

been busy so not watched any of it watched Alex Hua Tian corss country to see his impressive stick on ability, and his dressage which was a little insteresting

I went on Thurs but didnt watch a lot. I find the food at Burghley far too nice to be ignored! My old loan horse's half sister was competing, but someone told me she got eliminated today. Will try and catch up on it!

Had a really good day today the xcountry was great and much respect for all the riders those jumps are huge and technical :-olooking forward to the showjumping tomoz

I have spent the whole day travelling and missed the lot.

My daughter says the jumps are enormous, she's trying to get somebody to take her photograph standing by one to show me the scale.
