I want to get some tendon boots for driving etc but which are best.I've seen some cheaper blue cuddly pony's open front which are cheaper £13.50 or some dearer ones from a driving shop that are dearer and enclosed ones £27 so the question is does it matter if they are closed or open fronted? What is the difference?Any idea whether a shetland would need small pony or pony size,i know he is small in height but his legs are not that thin so not sure!

Your best measuring the length of his cannon bone to see if the boots will fit. Personally i'm not keen on open fronted boots but i'm guessing the choice is yours.

I use brushing boots that have extra padding/support for the splint bone on the front, I wouldnt use open fronted boots because it provides less protection if something gets flinged onto the front of his legs (stone froma car wheel for example)
I'd go for small pony too

I like the legacy boots.
Never thought about using them for driving, very good idea.
