World's tallest horse?

Just read that there is a 20.2 hh horse called Poe.

He's a Clydesdale and is 2 inches bigger than the horse from Texas that is currently listed in the Guiness Book of Records and lives in Canada.

If you google .. tallest horse poe .. you can find stories about him with photos.

He makes that 19.2 Clydie I nearly went after look rather puny....!

And there was Angus, the 19hh softy that used to be at our RDA yard (obviously not used for RDA!)

Lol I don't really ride big horses, biggest I've sat on was 18hh when I was little, and I ride a 16.3hh for this lady and he's the largest I've actually properly ridden.

biggest ive sat on is 17.3 plenty big enough thanks, no way of stopping it when it was naughty, we had a big 18hh mare at work last year i think thats how big she was one of the girls was 6'2 and her withers were above her head, it was naughty too used to take you for walks

Biggest horse I've known was an 18.2hh ID x and the biggest I've ridden was a 17hh Aredennais and he was alot of horse!

That horses is huge, way too big. The big horse I've ridden would have to be Angus that was pictured in Snowrider's original thread, took him for a wee pootle around the rda route with his owner walking. Rode him bare back too.

There's a picture somewhere on the newspaper's website of her standing next to him.

She's only 5ft 3.
