for anybody not up to date on Bo;s situation I bought him as a showjumper in dec come june he came lame, turns out he has bad arthritis in the front coffin joints and rotated pedal bones on the back, he had an op 7 weeks ago to remove three fragmented bones in the coffin joints. The update is Vet came out friday morning and bo seemed lame on the first trot up but second and third he came sound, so vet recommended sedating him and turning him out, poor boy didnt know what to do with him self. After having turn out for a few hours each day for 5 days I got on board and he couldnt have been better behaved for me. I cannot work out whether he is just stiff in trot or whether its lamness, vet said he could come lame easily and if so he will come up and medicate the joints. After having come back from a 5 day riding holiday with doc bo seemed to have grown from huge to utter utter huge, I didnt need to worry though as soon as I got on it was like I had never been off his back.
Excuse my body looking so rigid I was actually very relaxed but Body protector makes me look scared stiff lol pics are not great but I just wanted to share with you some of my happiness, so pleased just to have sat on him.
