I took Doccy poo on holiday to a lovely B&B with my mate and her old boy Ricks. Both boys had the time of their lives and didnt act their age at all. We did an average of 17 miles a day but most riding was done over hills, we got lost ALOT.
All aboard

If only doc knew we were about to go on a 4 hour ride he wouldnt have come to me so easily

I love Doc. He's always so smart :) Looks like a lovely area to ride in. Was it the same B+B you stayed at each night? In other words did you have to ride back to it every day? If so, did you find lots of different routes to ride?

thanks Flipper, we stayed at the same B&B it was lovely, such a lovely couple and they really spoilt us and provided us with lots of maps of all shapes and sizes. We rode out from the farm most days and followed the maps but some of their bridleways leave alot to be desired!!!! on another day we boxed the boys up to the quantocks such lovely rides and you can literally ride for days and days without crossing your own path, I ended up having to come out on a road and stop traffic as we were just so lost!! being lost was a very common occurrence for us, thankfully we had carrots and mars bars in our packs lol

we were about 13 miles from Taunton, you should defo have a riding holiday beks they are so much fun and really good for bonding with your ponio, doc had to trust me so much on some of those tracks, some were so steep I had to get off and lead him down and up, bless him. Do it beks, it wasnt that expensive either we paid £20 a night for BnB and £5 for grazing, the most expense for us was hiring the horse box.
