Spud had his feet trimmed today [and was a right little toad, reared up at the farrier several times which is VERY unlike him. He was quite stressed even bringing him in. I grabbed hold of his foot when he came back down and waited, kept saying to him 'its me' [something i did to help settle him years ago] and he chilled right down and stood to have his feet finished off. Im impressed he still remembered it :D:D:D:D

But anyway, i wanted to measure him as i've not measured him without shoes on [he's not shod at the mo] and he is about a cm over 14.3hh. So with shoes he will be spot on 15hh

No more umming and arring between 14.2 and 14.3 anymore - my boy is all grown up!! :D:D:D:D

He's 8.

I bought him as a 3/4 year old, took it that he was more 4. That would make him 10 now, yet there have been so many things in the last 2 years that just dont add up. Growing his tushes, his babylike behaviour, an enormous growth spurt again when he was supposed to be 9, which was him growing 3 inches length ways and then another half inch in height :confused:

Of course, travellers often sells these '3/4' year olds as really 2 year old babies, which was most likely what he was, which makes him 8 now, and did his growing at the correct ages! :lol:
