I learnt today that the retired broodmare, Moonshine Miriam died of colic this morning.
Miriam was the pride of Dianna Mays breeding stock as well as being a champion cremello show mare in her time. She was retired for sometime and enjoyed a much loved life with her breeder Di living alongside her daughter and the foals from her line.
Miriam has left a wonderful legacy in her progeny which includes such horses as Moonshine Pharo, Moonshine Obsession from her daughter Moonshine Romany Luck and Moonshine Vision.
The yard will miss her dearly and so will all of us lucky to have been able to work with her.
RIP Miriam old gal and I wish Di all my love at this sad loss xxxx
