I am selling Montana.
I have bought her at the wrong time and for the wrong reasons.

I wondered this the other day when you said big things were on your mind. Atleast your being honest with yourself and putting her first.
Big big hugs, i hope your doing okay. xxxx

Not an easy decision but sounds like you have given it a lot of thought ((hugs))

I bought her too soon after Storm's death (within 6/8 weeks) though she was still with the mare. She was also Storm's "niece" but she is not what I thought and it is not fair to her to keep her. She is a great girl but I am not the right one to own her. I kind of resent her - strange way of describing it, but that is the only way I can.
It is totally not her fault!

That is really brave to admit, and I totally respect you for it, you obviously have her best interest at heart, x

Good for you for making that sort of decision - I dont know the full story but it sounds like she's not right for you - its good that you are being honest with yourself.
Will you get another horse then?

That's a real shame, I hope you manage to find a good owner for her and then get yourself a horse that you feel happy with. x

Aww Sandy, I'm sure that was a very difficult decision but you know what is best for you and your horse.
I completely understand how you feel and why you made the decision. I lost my JRT a few years ago, and a week later had bought another. In hindsight it was the wrong thing to do. We should have waited a bit longer, and bought a different kind of dog. By buying the same breed we were trying too hard to replace our beloved Badger, which of course could never happen. I found it difficult to love Dog 2 the way I had loved Dog 1, although he is sweet and a nice little dog.

Sorry to hear this as I know lately you made great progress with her, which you should be very proud of. I know that you 100% put your horses first so I wish you well in finding her a new home :)

I totally understand your decision. I'm sure your horsey will be fine and that you will find her a good home. I think you need to give yourself time to grieve over Storm - that gap in your heart will heal soon and you will carry fond memories always. Good luck and I hope things work out for you through this tough time.
