Grace's 1st Lesson

Well I'm a bit late updating you as it was last Sunday lol, but my Grace had her first lesson! She rode in a little group with just 2 others in the indoor school and didn't do much really, was walking, trotting and doing some practise rising while she stood still, she hasn't mastered being able to do it while Drifty is walking yet - kind of loses her balance lol!! She'll get there though, she is only teeny tiny still bless her!
I have got a one second bit of video of her but its rubbish as the battery died on my phone as Dan was taking it, I will def get some more decent footage next time she rides though and put it on here for you to see - she just has no fear, its crazy - all she does is laugh her little socks off when she trots! She's finally twigged now that when she asks him to walk on that she needs to use both legs together rather than one before the other haha - she's funny!

Lol maybe I'm too pushy!! She picks it up ok though - she gets the idea about doing it in trot but then it just never quite happens bless her - maybe by the summer hey! No pressure Gracie haha xx

Lol, our yard is still sheet ice and the sand outdoor boggy and yucky. No chance i'm running around in that! Judging by the state of his girth etc (just had it in the washing machine) his part loaner is still riding though.

I know - I was gutted that the stupid battery chose that moment to run out - typical isn't it! I'll see if she wants to ride again today - and if I can beg someone to either lead or film for me - long shot I guess but hey, worth a try!! xx
