sit down cuddles?

Hey, Iv just been up the field to check on my girls and they were in their stables (they have the option) and my Cob was lying down, first time she's stayed down since iv had her and she let me sit with her and have cuddles.
does it mean she trusts me or is it very normal for horses to let you do that?

I felt like she trusted me to. just a shame the ****** dog thought it was play time with us both on the floor lol :lol:

I think very much that she trusts you! It took a long time before Bertie let me go sit with him whilst he was laid down, their at their most vulnerable when laid down so yes, she must trust you x

Not all will let you some get quite nervy about it like your going to try eat them, kiz doesnt care at all i go sit on her which she does not appreciate lol

Somewhere we have photos of Kosha doing it with my neice, he stays there happily and lets her climb all over him (don't worry theres always someone ready to grab her), star is the same, she once had all my stepdaughters (4 of them) and Hannah round her cuddling her for a photograph and stayed down after we had left! I have a pic of that somewhere as well.

Mony and Willow have never done it and sov would jump up the minute she knew you were in the field!
