..unfortunately yes i think im becoming a brand snob:o

Im due a new yard jacket and my old faithful mark todd blouson jacket has done me well for 4years but after loosing all its colour and being about as waterproof as a piece of loo roll i think i need a new one lol, have seen the Ariat yard jackets and they really are lovely! very fashionable and look comfy too, at £60 there not cheap but like my (3 eeek) pairs of ariat boots i have a feeling you really do get what you pay for with Ariat and im coming around to the idea of with horse stuff especially footwear your best off paying more for stuff becuase it lasts so much longer, just hoping this will be the case with the jacket!
Does anybody already have it and is it worth the money???

 no idea if those jackets are any good or not sorry.

I refuse point blank to spend a lot of money on clothing/footwear which is basically going to get sh!t on, drooled over and basically wrecked at the yard. If I was one of these people who can go and spend a day at the yard without so much as getting a blade of straw in my hair then maybe I would consider spending more money but nope, I get covered in crap walking from the car to the stable so total waste of money for me

I'm a massive Ariat fan, don't have this jacket but am the same as you, do now believe that it is often worth spending the money on good riding gear - my Ariat Grasmere's have literally been lived in for the last 4 years and still going strong, completely waterproof.

Can recommend the Musto Paddock Jacket if you want to have a look at any alternatives - again, I have one in its 4th year, still waterproof and windproof, but has slightly lost its filling, I'll prob look to replace it this winter.
