Look for "Haflinger in harness". Wonderful video of a Haflinger being driven in heavy traffic round a town and being trained. You need to have 15 mins to watch it all but its well worth it.

I really would love Stan to be like that but what he says at the end is so true. :)

Lol! At a standstill because of mud and weather. We are waiting until the weather warms up plus my farrier has to widen the shafts to accommodate Stan's bountiful body :p

I watched Terry Kirby's pony Ricky and he was great but he was no Haflinger so I'm a bit confused! He was a lightweight black pony. Must have been looking at the wrong video but was might impressed by him anyway.

The plan is for Kilo to be like that eventually :) He's doing well so far - he got chased by a cow yesterday while a complete beginner was riding him and he wasn't at all phased by it.
