The vast majority of horse shows that are on TV seem to have the same male commentator voice (don't think they ever show him) and I just wondered who he was? Is it Carl Hester as it sounded like him on HOYs on TV tonight?

Didn't hear it but Phil Ghazala (prob spelt wrong!) does a lot and Karl Ude Martinez (not even sure thats the right name let alone spelling!) does a lot of the H&C tv stuff

I haven't got Sky, so not sure who it is on those channels, but on the BBC Mike Tucker does a lot and he is soooooooooo annoying, he talks a load of rubbish! Ian Stark does quite a lot for eventing too.

The HOYS commentator is called Nick something-something. Can't remember! Double barrelled surname. That's going to annoy me now til I remember!

Did anyone else think the guy that kept going 'Oh Ellen' or 'Oh Guy' or 'Oh Will' every time they had a near miss needed smacking?

Nick Brooks-Ward. He has got to be the most annoying commenator I've heard, he loves the sound of his own voice far too much!P

He seems to do all the TV horsey shows/ events as I'm sure its always the same voice. He must make a fortune from it!

He sounds really similar to Mike Tucker TraceyJ so might not always be him.

I'm going to go against everyone else and say I think he's quite sweet!! He admits he's not technically the best commentator but he knows tons about the horses and riders. and he's so encouraging!!! (I know I know, they can't hear him!!)
