Anyone got any good website i can get one on?! I'm not talking mega fancy as my turnout is traditional. I'd just like a nice one that doesn't cost the earth. Ebay doesn't have much at the moment.

If you can hold off until the bigger Scottish shows start then there is guy who makes the most beautiful twisted wood and horn ones that are reasonable. I have 2 and they really classy. Or try and get one of the leather and horn ones, there might be a bargin on ebay- they are very classy and great if you need one you can actually use.

Also, what length do you wreckon would be correct? I've found a really nice one but it's 30inches which I think may be quite long!

I genuinely have no idea- it does sound quite long but i really couldn't tell you the length of mine. Fylde saddlery have a nice one for £30- leather and horn which is nice.
