Some help needed:

Last Summer myself and my partner did a lot of showing, however we would like more tips. Could you please help with turnout for us and our horses, they are as follows:
Seppie – 25 year old fleabitten grey anglo arab. She has a black cavesson bridle and black gp saddle with a white girth for the shows, she is ridden in a snaffle. Ashley wants to take her in best veteran, best senior rider and possibly a couple of other classes, she does have a lump on the side of her face which restricts points sometimes

Sox – 13 year old 14.1 chesnut section d with 3 white socks and a blaze. He has a brown hunter style bridle, brown gp saddle and a brown girth, he is shown in a wilkie. More than likely I will be showing him this year and will be taking him in best senior rider, large m&m, family pony, best pony and utility/equitation

Lucky – 14.2 15 year old Section D with 3 white socks and a white blaze. She has a black hunter style bridle and black gp saddle with a white girth for the shows, she is ridden in a snaffle. She will be entered in classes such as best senior rider, large m&m, family pony, best pony and utility/equitation. She is mainly took into ridden classes as she is very sluggish inhand.

Paddy – 14.1 7 year old traditional cog gelding with 4 white legs and a black tail. He had his feathers taken off a few months ago so I’ve brought some megatek to help them grow back. Once they have come back I’ll be taking him in inhand and ridden classes such as best driving type, best coloured, best senior rider, large m&m, family pony, best pony and utility/equitation

We have:
Ashley: green tweed jacket, beige jods, blue velvet hat, black long boots, brown tie and a white shirt
Me: brown tweed jacket, beige jods, brown velvet hat, black long boots, brown tie and a white shirt

Ashley ideally wants a tweed jacket that he can use with Seppie, Sox and Lucky. I’m getting a navy blue hat and tie and am hoping to get a green tweed jacket with navy velvet that I can wear to show Lucky, Sox and Paddy though I’ll keep my brown tweed. We were also going to get our shirts died yellow – does it really work if you put a duster in the washing machine with your shirt?

Thanks 

Do you have any photos of them ridden or in their tack? Sometimes they may need a finer or thicker bridle. The overall 'picture' of them in thier tack or being ridden can help alot with getting the 'right' tack and how to turn them out.

Paddy's bridle is brown and he has a black dressage saddle so i'm getting him a black hunter style bridle and black gp saddle

I think you're both looking correct in your turnout and the tack seems to be fine. I went from beige jodhs though to canary and a canary shirt to give a bit of colour. I'd say if you maybe brightened up your tie or something. Also could you ride in a pelham?

My two's owners aren't keen on them been in a pelham, Sox used to be in a pelham for the shows but hated it hence why he is now in a wilkie and Ash doesn't really want to put Seppie in a pelham as she was on the bottom ring of a gag when he had her and she is now in a snaffle, plus she is 25 years old now and he doesn't really want to keep changing
