A productive morning or just pure mad?

Woke this morning at 4am, couldnt sleep so pulled joddys on and headed to horses with my flask of tea.

Fed and mucked out all 4, trimmed Turks feet, did a full groom on Vel.

My friend is staying at mums at the moment as mum and co are away on holiday. Friend is seeing to the rest of the animals on croft. Friend told me I was pure mad for getting up so early, Im chuffed Ive got all my morning duties done by 8 this morning!

Am I barmy?????? :ashamed:

Not barmy at all! I bet it was lovely having that time with your horses. I bet it was really nice and peaceful. Am quite envious.

if you cant sleep then why not, i however have no problems sleeping ever so espcially in this weather will not be pulling myself out of bed early, my horses often arent awake properly by even 7oclock so god knows how they would feel about being woken up at four!

Sounds good to me. If you can't sleep anyway may as well be up and enjoying time with the horses :)

Ive got up quite a few times at around 4am, but only just to go check and say hi before going back to bed :lol:

When I had Megan especially I used to be up the field at all times of the day. I went through a couple of months of having the worst sleeping pattern ever and used to leave the house at like half 4/5 to go and poo pick, do all the jobs and just spend time with Megs basically!

I can honestly say i have never Not been able to sleep.
I go out like a light and stay there till the alarm wakes me up!
