Places your jods have been!

Following on from Sovereigns post: today I had to go and see my GP wearing my jods :lol:(it was a last minute appointment, at least I hadn't been to the stables yet!
Which is the most unusual place you have worn your jods?:cheekywink:

Well, as an adult, only the supermarket and the chip shop when I have come home from the yard late and needed quick sustenance, lol!

As a child I wanted to wear my jodhs everywhere so that everyone who saw me knew I was horsey, so all through Marks & Spencers etc! My Mother must have been a saint to indulge me in those days!

ermm, a theatre :lol: Only the village hall, but I was riding before going to the rehursal so went straight from the stables and changed there :lol:

i stank up the bank in my jods once
also stank up my ex's room when i stayed at his once, he was not happy with my smelly jods, and my clothes dont just have poop and wee and them there is a likelyhood that there is horse male fluids on there and maybe actually get weed on like some mares decide to do when you have thier hands up them

Middle of Norwich on a Saturday morning, there were 3 of us all in jods though so I didn't feel like too much of an idiot!

Auntie Annes house, Grandma's house, GP, Vets, Shopping center and local shop

Other places have been aquarium, pet shop, bird center, cinema, parties, wedding [whoops!!] and various others..

i was in my jods in the middle of leeds trainstaion once too, and preston and lancaster train station and skiptons, when i was travelling to college in skipton by train, i got bored of waiting for my usual train so went via leeds and preston and i think manchester once as well

I always used to avoid wearing my gear in public as much as possible, because as a man in riding stuff, you get absolutely stared at!. Seeing as I'm not an owner with no obligations to feed/exercise go to the yard etc, I've gotten away with it most of the time thankfully. If you think about, can you count the number of times you've seen a fella in riding garb away from the stables?. I could probably count on one hand, I think most of 'em are chicken like me! :lol:

One thing that i remember is that one of the woman in WFS country stores in Witney always used to make me feel uncomfortable. She positively perved at me whenever I was dragged around by then OH. :scared:

I generally don't care what people think of me, but i do feel a bit cringy wearing riding stuff 'out. You wimmin have it dead easy in this respect! :p
