Gurt STOLEN

Izzy (formally Gurt) was stolen last night from my old yard.
I believe she has gone to the Brighton area and I am well aware oif who stole her but I need to find her where she is! There is a very distraught 17yo girl that her pony is missing. This man is the scum of the earth that has taken her, I have her passport in hand she is STOLEN guy claiming he owns her!
Please help. She was stolen somewhere between 7pm last night 9am this morning would of gone most likely a blue landrover towing a burgendy 510 trailer. Car has a spare wheel cover with a comical horse saying "does my ass look big in this?"

I sat in a police interview room for 2 and a half hours today! They are involved. Not my area, my yard! Its Gurt, Storms mum who we boughgt off classic astra

I am sure that there are a few people from Brighton area on here. If they PMd you, you could give them the guy's name and they may find some connection in their area. Sadly, she doesn't seem to have any markings that stick out for ID. Is she microchipped? x

She has a scar down the inside of her back leg that will make her more distinctive

Get the auctions and docks notified. You can send a horse to an auction and get them passported on the day! (stupid system!!!) I can also passport any horse and if this guy is a dealer, may be able to scan and insert a microchip as well.

The pony came into my friends ownership in April, passport, the lot handed over, now said guy is claiming he only put the pony on full loan to her and has taken her back, no there isnt a reciept of sale as silly us thinking friends.... He only took her out of spite, he wasnt taking her cuz if he was he would of done it when he moved with her foal and he didnt, then there was a row suddenly the pony was gone, on contacting him he said yes he does have her and claiming that she ws only on loan etc but we have the paperwork!!

Passport had never been changed from when Stacey had her it turned out so I got trhat sorted :) x

A passport isnt a documentation of ownership, only identification so really unless there are receipts im not sure where anyone stands!

Shes gone to brighton area I know that much, want the passport back and in her name before we take her back, police said do ti that way x

Your friend bought Izzy / Gert off this man (I assume your ex YO???) in April? You, not your friend, who bought the mare has the Passport. Was the Passport changed to her being the new owner of the mare? Was it stamped by the Passport agency from where the Passport was issued? No receipt of sale was given - did she pay cash or cheque? If a cheque this can be a receipt. I assume she was microchipped - was the name / address of owner changed on the microchip to your friend's? This is also proof.

Why on earth would a grown man, take a horse, that no offense here but not worth a huge amount? Does her owner owe him more money? It's all very confusing to say the least. Glad the Police are involved and I hope this guy comes to his senses and hands her back and swiftly move all horses and belongings off this yard - he sounds like a complete physcopath.

Tis confusing but I think thats because Ari can't put the full details on here but the jist is that the man who took the ponies is basically having a hissy fit because he feels hard done by after they left the yard and has decided to hurt the people involved with the move.

Basically Izzy was signed over to my mate, the passport was never in his name, hje never had it changed I dont know why, no she isnt microchipped sadly. I have the passport because I was gettin it signed by previous owner as Im in contact with them whereas sash isnt.
Yes basically its a hissy fit is the sole reason behind this, its pure spite and nastiness! Mandi you know who it is too.

This horse has not been reported to horsewatch that we know of and is NOT listed on the Stolen Horse Register so details have NOT been sent out about her .... Will the owner please send me a message or post on the forum and let us help you advertise your horse properly and get her found

I've emailed Katie a link to this thread so definitely make sure you email her tomoro and explain everything to her, leave nothing out as every tiny fine detail does matter ... especially everything to do with passport and man handing pony etc

She is still missing and it doesnt look like we will get her back, Police have said its a civil matter basically, he even had the cheek to try to sell her back to my mate for 1800.
